Choir. Unfortunately, the dove and camel verses are
omitted.

Source notes: Despite scouring
the Web, I was unable to find an authoritative or earliest
publication of "The Friendly Beasts". Some print and
online versions call it "Traditional"; others attribute
the modern lyrics to a Robert Davis (1881-1950), and place
it in the 1920s, or 1934. Some omit the camel; others, the
dove. I have used the sources below inter alia; but in
doing my own compilation and arrangement, unlike any of
them, I align each verse with a staff instead of
relegating most to separate addenda at page-bottom.

and Carols of Christmas has some background on
the carol, but it omits the camel, and its verse 7 is a
total typographical error which should be deleted.
Anderson himself had to retire in April 2014 due to
health, and (as of October 2015) his successor does not
seem to be updating the site.
